'Jansen Eventing' is run by the husband and wife team of Peter Holdgate and Janine Jansen.
Both work full time to support their sport and passion for Eventing, but operate in very different areas of the media.  -  Janine is a television reporter and presenter for the BBC, whilst Peter runs 'all things photographic' as Executive Regional Picture Editor for the South West Media Group, which owns regional newspapers across the Westcountry.
Janine 'juggles' her time between television and eventing, sometimes riding three horses before work , a ten-hour day at the 'Beeb', and the remainder when she gets home.  
Likewise, Peter manages the yard before and after work.  The couple have lived at their beloved 'Chavara' for five years, developing it as a private competition yard.
Situated between Ashburton and Newton Abbot, it has views across the rolling hills of South Devon, just below the wilds of Dartmoor.
Peter and Janine currently own four horses, having  recently added another youngster to the team. In addition Janine rides a horse bred and owned by Mrs Gerry Mills, who has her other horses with Lucy Wiegersma.
Jansen Eventing has recently secured sponsorship from local animal bedding company "Shreddybed" based in Cornwall. The company works closely with DS Smith Packaging, recently named as the Environmental Company of the Year at the UK Packaging Awards, who provide Shreddybed with a local source of clean waste cardboard to shred into high quality animal bedding.       -       www.shreddybed.co.uk
